Why do I need a license?
Hideez Enterprise Server – License
Hideez devices are initially licensed for a specified period. You need to order an extension to preserve all the functionality after the expiry of this period.
To upload the license into the device, you need to connect the new device to the Hideez Client application. The application must be connected to the HES server in this case. Until a license has been downloaded to the device, it cannot be used for remote transfer of credentials through the server.
What is being licensed?
A license is purchased for every Hideez device. Each license has an expiry date, after which the functionality of the device will be limited.
What happens when the license expires?
The device switches to read-only mode. You can continue to use it, but it will be impossible to change the data.
How much does the license cost?
The cost depends on the number of days for each device.
