# Transition to Compromised status

The Compromised status can be transferred from the statuses:&#x20;

* Reserved&#x20;
* Active&#x20;
* Locked&#x20;
* Suspended

#### Step 1

Select the desired Hardware vault in the list and click on it.

#### Step 2

Click the **Vault is Compromised** button.

#### Step 3

Due to the irreversibility of this action, you must confirm your intention. Select a reason from the list, enter the serial number of the device, and click **Compromised**.
